Participants have start to sign-up

Many participants have now start to register to WADC 2018. The first one to sign-up for the Learn to Swim conference was Dorte Ørving, Tune Swimclub and Ishöj Swim club in Danmark. We asked her some questions about why she signed up, and what she is looking most forward to. This is her answer:

“I work as a swim school manager for Tune Swimclub and Ishöj Swim club in Denmark, and I have been working with swimming for 30 years. It’s incredibly interesting to see how we think about swimming have developed, compared to what was common just 10 years ago.

I have participate at WADC several times, the last time in january 2016. It is interresting to hear other proffessionals and how they have succeed with new initiatives. It is very inspiering and do often breeding ground for new initiatives in my own organisation. This year I find the subject ”How to keep and motivate your own teachers” very interresting. Especially in a daily life and in a work environment where young people are not as loyal as before.

In addition, I am looking forward to talk and networking with the other participants who work with swimming and swim schools.”
